j’s scratchpad

Chances are some of you might have had trouble reaching the Manila blogs, like this one, on Harvard’s blog server since Tuesday, May 30. Others of you who only receive feeds and don’t go to sites might have noticed nothing coming from this blog for a few days. Some problems brought the server down and other problems prevented our server gurus from resurrecting it quickly.

I was surprised when I tried to go to my blog and actually had it load this morning.

Thanks for all your hard work, Weblogmasters, especially on a weekend!

PS–I joked with one of them that the server outage would at least mean I wouldn’t have to fight trackback and comment spam for a few days. = )
