TechSoup provides some suggestions for using tags. Although the text seems to focus on del.icio.us, most of the advice will work in multiple systems.
History News Network reminds us that more and more content is born into very fragile digital media and we risk losing our history unless we figure out ways to save the data and preserve it so it’s still retrievable in 100 years.
