The Sounds of BarCamp

Chris Brogan has posted audio of BarCamp called The Sounds of BarCamp. The cool thing about this captured audio is that it includes some of the introductions. Listen to get an idea of what kinds of cool tech projects people around Boston are working on. Starting at about the 5:30 mark, there’s an explanation about OPML. On Friday, a friend of mine explained to me why he thinks OPML is incredibly important. Just yesterday evening, I mentioned OPML as I was talking with someone about what the next big things might be that we might want to cover at a conference in a year. (For those of you insisting on knowing what the letters mean, it’s outline processor markup language. Like HTML, most people will know it by its initials instead of the words.)

Brian Del Vecchio also recorded lots of audio of the conference, including a discussion between Alexis and eventually Chris and Steve of reddit and me about ways they might improve their site. I imagine he’s still processing and editing everything.
