Wikimania: Press Coverage

Just for fun, I looked at some of the Wikimania press coverage.

Boston Herald: Cambridge welcomes Web’s wacky world of ‘Wiki’

The Washington Post: It’s on Wikipedia, So It Must Be True

A Guardian blog: Wales: let’s make Wikipedia more accurate

The Lowell Sun: A ‘WIKID’ DEBATE: Meehan at center of nonstop ‘edit war’

The Associated Press: Wikipedia Founder Seeks More Quality (Breaking news, even!)

A few outlets have even picked up on the fact that the conference is for more than just Wikipedia.

Addendum 8/8: More coverage:

Robert Levine, who spent a few days at the conference and was writing for The New York Times, summarizes the conference.

A friend told me the local radio station WGBH ran a few minutes on the conference this morning. I haven’t been able to find the bit online.
