Wikimania: Tips for Conducting Research and Evaluating Information

The workshop I submitted for Wikimania, Tips for Conducting Research and Evaluating Information, ended up being something very different. About two weeks before the conference, someone contacted to ask me if Gary Price could share my time slot. How could I say no? He and I finally managed to snag time on the Wednesday before the conference to discuss how we could team present. I ended up being so busy helping to plan and set up for the conference between that Wednesday and Friday, I had no time to prepare a formal presentation. That worked well because, of course, Gary had a fabulous list of sites. I pulled some points from the talk I gave to journalism students this spring.

About 35 folks were in the audience, including a few library and information science professionals. I heard some good things about the talk.
