Internet Librarian: Lawley: Closing Keynote: Social Computing & the Info Pro
Liz Lawley of several blogs is giving the closing keynote about games and such. Games can be a great way to connect people together. She’s telling us about a variety of games. On the one hand, it’d be kind of cool to play some of these games, but on the other hand, I’m sure it would be difficult to play with everyone in the auditorium. There are probably between 500 and 1,000 people in here.
She believes game creation theory maps well to the conference. I didn’t catch the statements, but it’s something like:
Content is king
something about queens
All the world’s a stage
and two more lines …
Wow. It’s over. What a fabulous conference. I got a lot out of this one. Everyone who said I needed to be here was absolutely spot on. Thank you for the advice.
