I know I’m becoming too accustomed to Web 2.0, the participatory Web. I attended a concert of selected popular Rodgers and Hammerstein works from six of their musicals, including Oklahoma, South Pacific, and Sound of Music. Even though I saw many people in the audience moving their lips to the lyrics, the chorus chose not to let it be a sing-along. I kept thinking “This concert would be more fun if they would let us join in.” I guess I’m used to being able to do that here.
