Introduction to Web 2.0 for Scholarship and Networking
I posted the outline of the talk I gave to some Georgian educators about Web 2.0 goodness.
I enjoyed speaking to them. They asked some really great questions and seemed very interested in how they could adopt the tools for their work in Georgia (the country). Their faces lit up when I showed the Georgian version of Wikipedia, with which they were already familiar. Luckily, we didn’t get stuck in any Web 2.0 pluff mud. There are so many cool tools out there educators can use, it is difficult to narrow down what to cover. I decided to introduce a broad spectrum of Web 2.0 stuff instead of just covering a few things in more detail.
Enjoy!
