Equal Pay Day
I’ve been trying to think of something really groundbreaking and provocative to write about salaries in librarianship, but all my mind keeps turning around is whether salaries in our profession are low because it’s historically a profession into which many women go or whether the salaries are low because it’s an underappreciated profession. Well, ok, maybe both. But you get the idea of what I’m mulling.
