Grazr: Another way to display XML feeds
I don’t think I’ve ever written about Grazr in this space before, regardless of how long I’ve known about it or the fact that a friend of mine is a champion of the tool. He gave me a detailed demo, which makes me want to pull writing about it off the backburner and into reality. It’s something people can use as a browser sidebar plug-in or widget on a Web site to aggregate various feeds.
If you want to see an example of it in action, look at the Conversation Base Fire box. (By the way, that site uses wikispaces for their software.)
When I looked at the homepage for the tool, I noticed a lot of feeds related to library and information science. Either that’s a nice coincidence, Grazr somehow knows I write a weblog about news librarianship, or the highlighted folks like to read LIS sources.
