In an article similar to the one earlier this week about tech entrepreneurs, The Boston Globe tells the tale of why Facebook went West instead of finding funding on the East Coast. The tale provides some insight into venture capital and startup funding. Since a venture capital firm in Massachusetts passed up an opportunity to invest in Facebook, it has grown considerably to become a very popular social networking site.
