Coffee/Tea/Lunch, Tuesday (9/18), Cafe on the Ave, Seattle, 1 p PT
On Tuesday, September 18, I plan to be at the Cafe on the Ave, 4201 University Way, in Seattle between about 1 p and 2:30 p to hand out some Babbledog schwag and talk about the nifty chat software. Sorry for the short notice. Even though I’ve been planning to do something like this for a while, setting the date and time ended up being more complicated than I anticipated. Stop by to say hello and get a t-shirt.
PS–1:30 p: I’m settled in at the cafe with a chai iced tea (redundant, eh?) and some eggs with tomatoes, avocado, Hollandaise sauce, and English muffins (Yum!). The Postal Service’s Give Up plays in the background. I’m at a tall table kinda in the middle with a hot pink Garment District bag, some Babbledog schwag, and a stack of Babbledog cards on the table. Say hello. Get a shirt.
I asked for some place like Toscanini’s in Seattle and the Cafe on the Ave is pretty close. The atmosphere is spot on. It just lacks ice cream.
