New Trust Measures in Wikipedia
Garrett pointed me to this New Scientist article about changes to Wikipedia to try to increase the quality of the content by making only edits by trusted people live immediately. While an effort to decrease vandalism and improve the overall quality of the content, some people fear many contributors—especially the ones who tend to stumble upon an entry via a search engine, notice a mistake, fix it, and move along—will lose some of the motivation to make good edits.
