OLPC’s Give One, Get One Initiative Begins Today (11/12)
Between Monday, November 12, and Monday, November 26, for $399 (plus shipping, handling, taxes, and any other appropriate fees) , you can buy a One Laptop Per Child XO laptop and send one overseas to a needy child.
According to the terms and conditions, they do not guarantee delivery by the holidays and they do not plan to provide support for the computers. They are only offering the machines to people with US and Canadian street addresses. And what’s especially worth noting for us developers: “XO laptops are available only for private home and educational uses.”
