OLPC’s XO Shipping Delays Lead to Some Canceled Orders
The Boston Globe recently printed 84,000 people ordered XOs from One Laptop Per Child’s. While many people are enjoying their new XOs, focus has shifted to a few thousand people who received e-mails indicating their orders might be fulfilled after 45-60 days. For some people, that’s too long to wait and they’ve canceled their orders. OLPC has had a lot of bad news lately. These canceled orders don’t help.
