Palfrey to Leave Berkman Directorship, New Law School Vice Dean of Library and Information Resources

Oh, the things I learn from reading Babbledog at work. John Palfrey, who has been the executive director of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society for years, is leaving his post to become the new vice dean of library and information resources at Harvard Law School. While Palfrey’s new job heralds a major change for Berkman, the new position is a huge win for the law school. Many of us are looking forward to what he will do. Luckily, as SY notes below, he will still be involved with Berkman.

Congratulations, John!

Fortunately, John will remain a Berkman faculty director, though, yes, he will no longer be the executive director.

I’m very glad he’ll still be playing some role at Berkman.
