Suggestions for SLA News Division Tech Panel
Amy Disch sent out a note asking for suggestions for an open forum Derek Willis and I are moderating about technology at the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference. Want to discuss something nifty? Have a favorite tool we should mention?
“We want this to be a high-energy, interactive session that will, as Derek put so well, ‘tap* the knowledge of News Division members, in 5-minute snippets’ and ‘offer the most widely-available tips and tools so that the most people can take advantage of them.’”
The panel is Monday, June 16.
*Tap has become such a negative, loaded term on the Internet lately … We mean ‘tap’ in the kinder sense of getting good ideas from other people.
