More Cuts in the News Industry
There’s been a lot of talk among the Special Libraries Association News Division about the state of our profession because of all the job cuts. Yesterday, another announcement on our discussion list brought bad news of workforce reductions that will impact some of our colleagues. We’ve been discussing the low turnout and missing many of our colleagues who aren’t here. What can we do to change what looks like a bleak future for news librarians? We need to do something.
