9/9 Webcast on Future of the Internet at 12 p ET
Today’s Berkman Center lunch features Jonathan Zittrain on the Future of the Internet, a talk based on his new book. The webcast will begin around 12:30 pm ET and last for at least an hour. Zittrain is well-known for his expertise in copyright law and Internet issues. He gave a alk about the book back in April.
One of the last lunches I was at here talked about a virtual dog. This lunch has a real dog.
We spent an hour doing introductions, then talked about random Internet issues, like scraping, data mining, and how people aren’t as afraid of using the ‘net (like reading their e-mail in a coffee shop) as they should be.
