InfoCamp Seattle, 9/27-28/08
Avast me hearties! Weigh anchor, hoist the mizzen, and head for InfoCamp Seattle next weekend (September 27-28, 2008).
“InfoCamp is an interdisciplinary un-conference for information architecture, user-centered design, librarianship, and information management. It features an egalitarian, community-driven format in which presentations are designed and delivered by attendees.”
I learned about InfoCamp at the Special Libraries Association Annual Conference in Seattle when I got to talk to someone who I believe is one of the organizers. It sounds like a conference that’d be about as fun as that time we invaded the Stata Center at MIT and spent the weekend plundering and pillaging and drinking grog … geeking out.
(If anyone around Boston wants to help organize one, drop me a line. I can sail my BarCamp Boston ship around for fire support.)
