Rocky Mountain News Ceases Publishing
About two months shy of its true 150th anniversary, the Rocky Mountain News published its last paper and prepares to completely close down. It had been seeking a buyer in the midst of troubles plaguing many newspapers these days.
My hat is off to our colleagues. I can’t help wondering what will happen to the archives and all the history. The situation makes me sad. I don’t like writing about the demise of news organizations.
