		<description>&lt;b&gt;Follow-up:&lt;/b&gt; Now that I&#039;ve been teaching this stuff a while, I&#039;ve decided Logo isn&#039;t such a bad idea.  In fact, it&#039;s how I introduce objects. Before that, we do a lot of simulations and draw lots of pictures in other ways. (I&#039;m especially fond of iterated function systems.) But next semester I might start off with the turtle sooner.
