My very first Le Creuset! I’m getting rid of my scratched up teflon pans for some good old fashioned cast iron. I got this from Ebay and cooked with it as soon as I got home. I LOVE the way it browns the food. I like the colorful enameled cast iron pans but I also wanted the benefits of cooking on bare cast iron (iron gets into the food) and this pan has it all. Mmmm, yummy iron.
I took my very first spinning class yesterday. Wow, was it intense! The good thing about spinning is that it’s fairly easy on the joints and muscles so you’re not sore for a week (ahem, unlike that Abs, Back, and Glutes class I took last week). You do work up a good sweat and it felt pretty good afterwards even though I hated just about every minute of the class. I would’ve probably hated it less if the bike seat was a bit more comfy. Why oh why are the bike seats that hard? They say you get used to it after a few classes. I don’t know if I want calluses on my bum…
I’ll probably go back to the class but not until I’ve made myself some super duper padded bike shorts!

This is how I dry my clothes sometimes. This fits with my living with less theme nicely … less electricity used, less wear and tear from/on the dryer, even less time to dry!

Yay, I’m done with this embroidery doodle. I finally figured out how to do french knots (after poking my fingers with the needle about a dozen times). Chirp chirp!
