I will be taking a class called Abs, Back, and Glutes at the gym today. I’ve taken yoga classes in the past but I want to try something different this semester. Here’s the description, “An intense workout focusing mainly on abdominals, glutes, quadriceps, hamstrings, and lower back. Great for targeting those hard to work neglected areas!” Doesn’t this just sound like torture?

Finally, something crafty for my so called craft blog. I started doodling with embroidery and this is what I have so far. I’ll keep on doodling to see what comes out of it.
Heehee, you can see Molly’s fuzzy foot on the upper right corner of the picture.

This is what happens when you don’t pick squash for a couple of weeks. They take steroids and work out at the community garden until they’re HUGE. I think they could’ve gotten even bigger if it rained. Guess who’s going to be eating squash for the next 10 days?

I went to Nanstasket Beach (Hull, MA) on Saturday with some friends. I love that beach because the sand is fine and there are plenty of rocks, pebbles, and beach glass. My friend had mentioned that she wanted to pick rocks to line a boot tray so in the winter (what’s that?) you can put your snowy boots on them and the water would drip down into the tray. So I picked up a bunch of rocks and here’s my boot tray! I could use a little more filler rocks but I really like the look of it. This will be a nice reminder of summer during the long ass winter we have here in New England.
I was supposed to post something crafty today wasn’t I. Well, I did start a little embroidery project last night, something I call “embroidery doodling”. I didn’t get too far on it so maybe I’ll bring it to the beach with me tomorrow.
Here’s a Flickr group full of embroidery projects.
