The Tao of the Web: China and the future of the Internet

Most English-language discussions about “the future of the Internet” approach the subject from an Anglo-American and European perspective. But what if you take China – now with the world’s largest number of Internet users, fast-growing technology sector, and a strong voice in global Internet governance debates – as your starting point for thinking about where the global Internet is headed? What are the implications for global free expression? Rebecca MacKinnon explores these questions and others in this lunch series.
