Japan and blood types: Does it determine personality?
A patient with a rare blood type is more likely to face shortage of blood when he/she is in need of blood. Then, why does someone with a rare blood type not behave more risk-averse than the other, especially in the rural areas where we expect more shortage of blood for them? The potential explanation would be: (1) A blood shortage is trivial (2) people with a rare blood type are stupid and they are just more likely to be died by injury (3) people with a rare blood type are OK with a massive blood loss for some reasons.
I am not trying to defend the traditional personality test in Japan here, but I feel strange if I could not find any differences.
