Does anyone know if there are any public hearings in Florida? I doubt it, but I know quite a few people who would go...I also know a few choice state legislators to write.
Is a representative democracy truely a democracy?
Please e-mail answers to my first question (or both, if you please) at the above e-mail address.
Thanks.

Good, sad point re: other states. Fred von Lohmann of EFF and Ed Felten of Princeton seem to be leading the charge.

On the other hand, if you're an Arkansas resident, perhaps things aren't quite so rosy.

Who, if anyone, is co-ordinating this state by state on our side?

Send to Rep. James Vallee and Sen. Thomas McGee, co-chairs of the committee reviewing this bill. Sen. McGee is TMcGee@senate.state.ma.us and Rep. Vallee is Rep.JamesVallee@hou.state.ma.us. Also write your own rep and senator and tell them this thing is a dud.

Well reported! For those of us who are MA citizens and voters, where can we send our written comments?
