Called “from consumers to creators,” tonight’s Internet & Society class is previewed by my co-teacher, Urs Gasser, here.
Not surprisingly, we read Yochai Benkler and some of the excellent recent Pew
studies. The class should be highly interactive and fun — much
like the medium we’re studying.
We’ve got podcast and webcast fever around here. Two of the latter variety
this week, one of David Weinberger’s presentation at lunchtime today,
Tuesday, (long since oversubscribed for the in-person version; sorry!), which is previewed here,
and our Gruter-Berkman Roundtable session, with Prof. Steven Pinker and
other luminaries on Wednesday.
