Straddling the border with Costa Rica is one the most magnificent set of Caribbean islands that only a lucky few have heard of, Bocas del Toro in Panama.  However these islands left such an impression on Christopher Columbus that he had to name practically everything he saw after himself, starting with the main island Isla Colon (Colon is Spanish for Columbus).

Bocas del Toro offer visitors numerous attractions above and below the surface of water.  With sparkling aquamarine waters, snorkeler and scuba divers will be in heaven.  Topside discover Bocas del Toro’s wild jungles, brightly colored birds too numerous to count or simple sit back and enjoy a dollar beer in one of the many watering holes that offer happy hours.  When you are there, make sure to take a trip to Bocas del Drago’s Starfish beach were typically the starfish outnumber the people!
