While searching for something funny to post on the blog this week, I came across these three sites. They might be good tools to add to your research tool kit or tool belt.

Athenaeum Library of Philosophy

This site contains a myriad of free online philosophical texts. Most of these texts are public-domain, and have no special formatting. These versions are good for checking a source, but I would look for a more authoritative edition were I interested in citing the source in a published work.

Philosophical Weblogs

Are you curious to learn more about what areas of analytic philosophy are being discussed in the blogosphere? Here’s a list of philosophy-related blogs (aside from mine!) in which you might be interested, compiled by David Chalmers.

Achille Varzi’s Philosophy Links and Resources

Achille Varzi (Columbia) has compiled an extensive list of philosophy-related links and online resources, which is worth taking the time to browse through.

A hat-tip to the Maverick Philosopher for these. The Maverick Philosopher has some great resources listed in his Philosopher’s Toolkit section, so be sure to check these links out.
