It seems that the only thing that separates most of the highly collectible photographers (and artists as well)  from the competent, is that they are collectible, nothing more than the attraction of having a photo by someone known on your wall, and the anticipation that it will climb in value. Maybe the photographer did once take a great photo, but that&#039;s not the one they&#039;re buying.</description>
