Helicopter Training page

Would appreciate comments (here or email to philg@mit.edu) on a draft of a new page:  Helicopter Training.

The goal is to answer new students’ questions.

Thanks.

    Phil,
    Very nice draft.
One question I hear alot and I suppose it would fall under the FAQ heading is:
“Is it true that helicopters are harder to fly than airplanes?”

I answer that question about three times more often as any almost other.
    Just a thought.

Thanks, Mark. I added a q/a to the FAQ section.

Hi Phil, I enjoyed the article. Do you guys offer helicopter CFI as well? Then again, most new students may not ask this …

David: Paul and Mike are both experienced enough to teach CFI-H. I think they are exceptionally good instructors, but at the same time it might be better for a would-be helicopter CFI to go to a school where there are a lot of other CFI candidates.

Static, but important information is buried on the page, forcing reader to browse entire page for the little tidbit they need: ie…instructor availabilty, costs, etc. Maybe bump that stuff up in a separate column. I know this violates some unwritten philg website rule, but reading all the copy is a pain in the ass.

Starchild: I added a summary list up at the top. Thanks for your suggestion.
