Interview with me, me, me in a new book

Jessica Livingston’s new book, Founders at work, contains a 28-page interview with none other than the author of this Weblog (plus interviews with a lot more genuinely accomplished folks!).

    Hello!
Yep, just read it. I’m finding the book pretty inspiring, to be honest. I didnt know a lot about ArsDigita before - I thought your idea of P+L responsibility for developer teams was particularly interesting. Anyway, I just happend to be googling around, found you on wikipedia - hey presto. Power of the internet eh!

Phillip, just bought this book for a trip back East. Very good reading, although clearly some of the interviews (Woz, you, Adobe) were more compelling than others. I really liked the author’s approach - asking good, directed questions.

I also found it very interesting the correlations between many of the “successful” companies - huge amounts of work, never giving up, and often changing the initial business model.

A recommended read for anyone that is thinking about or wants to know more about the real startup world.
