Heard on the Boston Tower frequency today: “Your gear is only half down. The mains are at a 45-degree angle. Or maybe you want to call it ‘half up’.”

So, what was the result? Did they get all the way down before landing?

I’m sure that they managed to extend the gear fully, since there were no newspaper reports of anything interesting happening. I went to liveatc.net to see if I could hear more of the conversation in the archives, but it seems that they didn’t capture the relevant frequency (Boston Tower has two) or I didn’t remember the time correctly.
