Nice. If it were my article I would rewrite this sentence: “Due to decades of attacks by Kurds, cars are carefully screened for bombs before being allowed into the parking garages.” A fifth of the population is of Kurdish ethnicity so they are certainly worthy of mention, but not in this light… People might think that there is more tension than there is.
Glad I’m not the only who thought the Dolmabahce paintings were ugly!

The Basilica Cistern (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basilica_Cistern) was quite impressive bit of engineering but the watch out for the guards since using a tripod is forbidden and it’s quite dark in there. With a steady hand and high aperture lens you might be able to get some great shots without running into trouble.

I like that city, especially its bazars. You can find everything for good price. When you are shopping should remember: never take third offer.
