The PokerStars team now consists of 40 players. The most recent members who have joined the team are Jason “Treysfull21” Mercier and Marcel “The Flying Dutchman” Luske.

Luske was the top player in Europe in2001 and 2003 and won the Lifetime Achievement Award at European Poker Awards last year. In the main event of the 2004 WSOP, he finished in place 10.

As for Mercier, a 22-year-old Florida native, he won the PokerStars European Poker Tour Season Four event in Sam Remo, finished in place 6 at the Season 5 event in Barcelona, won last year’s PokerStars European Poker Tour Million One Dollar Showdown High-Roller tournament in London and took his first WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha competition. Since his first appearance last year, he is known to have won over $3.2 million.
