Bwin Takes over PokerRoom

The online gambling industry has said goodbye to PokerRoom – one of the first internet poker sites. The PokerRoom brand has been takenover by Bwin Interactive – the brand that has a high reputation in the industry and operates the largest international gambling roup in the world.
As a result of the deal, PokerRoom gamblers were offered either to transfer their accounts over to the Bwing online casino poker gambling network or cash out their account balances.
Bwin is going to use PokerRoom brand to build up its market share in Western and Eastern Europe, Mexico, the UK, Canada, some of South Amrican and other emerging markets.
