Will Everyone Accept Benefits of EU Control?

The question of control and regulation of internet sportsbetting throughout the EU has raised a debate.
The initial purpose of control is to protect gamblers, and the identity fraud has always been a big concern for gamblers. Some standards to handle the protection of personal and private data such as credit card details, addresses and phone numbers could be put in place. In addition to that the EU should also take control over match fixing and statistics.
The European Parliament is going to discuss this topic at the next session, however valid objections are expected.
