The media just works that way. They seem to emphasize the truly important aspects of every event =)

Did you not read the story? Perhaps it was a real heartfelt story… LMAO!!!

The position and the translucency are goodones too. Like it come´s right out of his pants.

Excellent point. Car bombs, executions, children being slaughtered, and they write a cover article on gay rights. If you are in a fundamentalist Muslim country, stay in the closet for your own sake and safety. It’s not like you are white Westerner walking around the streets of Baghdad, you won’t have a target painted on you.

It’s all a matter of what sells. The media got tired of reporting deaths years ago. Now they only care if the number hits a milestone. But they sell what the public wants, so who is really to blame? I’m just sayin….

I think your one word: “MEDIA” says it best. We can just say…’enough said’. It already says it all.

How low can you go? No news is good news. But no news doesn’t make sales, so they have to make news.

I guess it is hard to be a gay person and live in Iraq, Afghanistan or any middle east close minded country.

After almost 9 years of war in Iraq, there is still no light on the end of tunnel for Iraq gays. They will have to wait a little more before they come out.
Comment on August 18th, 2010.
Must be hard to be a soldier and gay. It’s such a macho culture.
