The Rowland Institute doesn’t advertise itself.  You can pass by
the building without any inkling of what takes place here.  Now,
however, we have signage. ( I miss the simple gold 100, though.)

Congratulations on your new sign! The Rowland Institute now has something most other parts of Harvard don’t seem to have.

The name of the institute itself has always made me chuckle because “at,” to me at least, implies some kind of geographic closeness. As far as I know, Harvard doesn’t own to much other property near the Rowland Institute. Does the “at” signal some kind of future plan for acquiring real estate in that part of Cambridge? Why not the Rowland Institute “of” Harvard or “affiliated with” Harvard? Just pondering. = )
