Travel & Inspirations

Traveling is one of the great pleasures of life. Jim Rogers, a seasoned investor,  believed that visiting different cities makes one more compassionate and open minded.  I am blessed with the opportunity to live, study and work in different parts of the world for the past 15 years, I learned to appreciate the scenery, food and people of different countries. Here are some of my favorite destinations:

Sydney, Australia
New York City, United States
Beijing, China
Hong Kong, China
Paris, France

Sydney

Sydney’s beautiful beaches, delicious fusion food and great looking people make it one of the most visited cities in the southern hemisphere. But Australia is much more than surfing, Koala watching and sunbathing, if you visit the outback you will get to see another side of Australia: Dangerous, raw, aweinspiring, and mysterious. The rugged coastline, teal color water and white sand beaches are just some of the reasons why Sydney is a city I never get tired of visiting, and the great weather all year round makes it perfect for travelers who love outdoor activities.

New York City

NYC is home to the Empire State Building, the 5th Avenue, Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Central Park. It is also the backdrop of many classic movies and tv shows, including Breakfast at Tiffany’s. For more than 100 years the city has been recognized as the capital of the world – sophisticated, urbane, glamorous, energetic and interesting. One simply cannot articulate the essence of this city with a few words because it is always changing and evolving.

Beijing

Around one billion people around the world watched in awe as Beijing spectacularly reintroduced itself to the world during the 2008 Olympic opening ceremony. But there’s more to it. A city of long history, natural beauty and infinite mystery, Beijing continues to spearhead China’s development and growth. There simply is no better city to experience China’s rich traditions, art and culture than spending a weekend in Beijing.

Hong Kong
Brazenly commercial, busy and hip, Hong Kong is known as Asia’s world city. If you love shopping, Hong Kong is the perfect place to go: luxury shopping malls abound and you can buy anything from hard to find Chinese antique to limited edition Louis Vuitton handbags. The nightly light and sound show “The Symphony of Lights” lit up the Victoria Harbor and the skycrapers on both sides of the harbor.

Paris

The River Seine, Musée du Louvre, and the Jardin des Tuileries are just some of the reasons people fall in love with Paris. High end couture, hand made souvenirs and flea markets also make Paris an ideal vacation destination.
