What about fake reviews for Web sites, like these for the Harvard Homepage?

Would you count those women’s magazine that are almost entirely written by corporate press release? Marie Claire is a classic “culprit”, and here’s a fine example: http://magazines.ivillage.com/marieclaire/beauty/skin/articles/0,,434727_598281-7,00.html
(”The 10 Products You Didn’t Know You Needed, 6: Lancome Matte Finish Shine-Control Blotting Sheets”)
It’s not that the product is bad, but any halfway impartial editor would also note that the product is technically identical to a Johnson & Johnson product at 1/3 the price (and half that if you buy greymarket from Hong Kong via eBay).
