What a lovely tree Karl! Your snacks may not be too far off Ms. Martha. No joke: she frequents the Bedford Diner (in Bedford, NY), where she has her driver stay in the car (natch), sits only on a stool at the counter, speaks & looks at no one, and ALWAYS orders a grilled cheese sandwich, american cheese on white bread. (The only way to have a grilled cheese, of course.) Talk about white trash roots.

Ok Maybe Martha wouldn’t be serving cookies on platters off the floor while trimming a fake tree, but holy crap Karl, for you, that is like Martha-On-Crack. Now I’m WICKED sorry I missed the event! (Christmas Vacation is just about my favorite holiday movie – or possibly any movie – EVER!!! Wicked cute man-fest by the way.

Good job! Tree decorating parties are the best, especially if the guests do all the decorating.

Oh, and not to burst a bubble but I wouldn’t expect Martha Stewart to be impressed with anything us commoners could come up with. She’d be like “oh, well, isn’t this little house just… quaint. And the tree, my goodness, it’s so… is that plastic? Oh how economical.” =)
