Similarly...I was raised blue-collar/old school where my Mom would NEVER have thought to let someone else clean. Well, about 5 years ago my partner and I bit the bullet and hired a cleaner every other week.....well, now it's weekly and it's one of the best decisions I EVER made. My two cents.....HIRE AWAY! I read your blog daily..and today I had to comment. Similarly…I was raised blue-collar/old school where my Mom would NEVER have thought to let someone else clean. My partner and I recently started the service. The cleaning lady arrives on Saturday morning around 10am and is gone by 1pm, as we do not like anyone in our home while we are out and Mike (partner) is not keen on creating an alarm system code for her.
