Good Stuff in the ResourceShelf

Lots of good on Gary Price’s ResourchShelf this week (and every week). Usually, I can select one or two things from his posts to feature here, but this week, there are too many good things to pick just one or two. Highlights: The Council of Higher Education Accreditation’s database, which includes accrediting information about higher education institutions; the Pew Internet & American Life Project’s report on Internet use in the United States with data by region and information about top Web sites; an interview with Rice University’s CIO about the future of librarianship and how technology is changing the profession; and there’s also stuff about how the recording industry is tracking music downloaders, the American Library Association’s efforts to help libraries cope with the recent legislation concerning Internet filters, and more about Google.
