Archimedes’ Palimpsest
Tonight’s Nova was about a palimpsest containing a long lost work of Archimedes: The Method. Not only did the WGBH program talk about Archimedes’ contributions to the field of mathematics, but a good portion of the show was about the techniques being used to conserve and read the text.
