Shimon Rura and Josh Ain’s OSCOM Talk

In a little while, Thursday night blog group superstars Shimon Rura and Josh Ain will give a talk at OSCOM (Open Source Content Management) about interpersonal knowledge management and their blogging platform Frassle. Many of us had a sneak peek of their presentation last Thursday evening. Several people published notes, including me in my unofficial capacity as the Thursday night meeting secretary.

What they have to say can turn someone who asks “What use is a blog?” into someone who’s actively pursuing blogging. I don’t think I’m the only one who thinks their ideas can make Frassle a cutting-edge blogging tool, if it isn’t there already.

If you are unable to be at their presentation in a little while, they will be making a similar presentation as part of a Special Libraries Association Boston Chapter program on blogging at Mount Holyoke College on Saturday, October 30.

Good luck, guys, and may you not step on anyone in the audience.

Addendum: The guys report their talk went well. Shimon posted links to the slides.
