Flickr Adds Rankings

I wonder if Shimon knows about the new ranking capabilities of Flickr, the image service. It sounds very similar to what he’s interested in doing with blog posts, but with a slightly different model.
The ZDNet news article also mentions Flickr’s efforts to disambiguate images whose tags could mean multiple things.

Rich pointed me to this cautionary tale about the dangers of blogging. An Arizona National Guardsman on active duty in Iraq was demoted from from specialist to private first class because of information he shared on his weblog.
