Gary Price Speaks at Simmons College, 3/8, 6:30 p

Super librarian Gary Price will make a free presentation on Wednesday, March 8, at 6:30 pm in Lecture Hall C-101 in the Main College Building at Simmons College.

"Come hear about the latest in search from renowned librarian and search expert, Gary Price. In this fast-paced talk, Gary will cover the future of search engine companies, the invisible web, and tips for keeping up with the ever-changing search landscape. Gary will also discuss his unusual path as a non-traditional librarian."

No registration is required for this event.

Addenda 3/8: Folks might be going out afterward.

2:06 pm: I’ve learned the location of the talk might have changed to the Linda K. Parentsky Conference Center on the third floor of the Main College Building. I called Simmons College to confirm the new location. They are checking with a student group. The woman I spoke with said if there is a location change, at the very least, someone will post a sign on the door of Lecture Hall C-101 to reveal the new location. They’ll probably update the listing on the Web, too. If I get confirmation that the event has or has not moved before I leave work, I will post that info here. If not, I will follow her advice: go to C-101 first to look for a sign, then go up to the conference center.
