Someone in the blog group mentioned the idea of continuous computing–where so many of us are constantly at our computers: during meetings, at home in front of the telly, while we’re commuting, etc. I found a brief bit about it in MIT’s Technology Review.
I spent most of my July 4th holiday burning files from my laptop to CDs. (Those folks who have been nagging me to backup my machine just cheered loudly.) That way, if it decides to go bonkers again, I’ll feel more independent.
